Compass CEO Robert Reffkin was the keynote speaker at the event
This summer, Compass gathered its leading Northern California agents for the NorCal Top Producer Summit, an annual tradition that celebrates excellence while looking ahead to the future of real estate. The 2025 event took place in charming Carmel-by-the-Sea, where the backdrop was just as inspiring as the conversations inside. We were thrilled to be there to capture it all.

Connections that matter
For top producers, the summit wasn’t just about recognition — it was about community. Over 225 Compass agents came together to forge new connections, deepen existing relationships, and spark collaborations that could influence the market in the months ahead.
What makes the summit stand out is the culture it nurtures. Compass positions itself not only as a brokerage, but as a true network of collaboration and shared vision. This year’s gathering underscored that point, showing how trust, values, and relationships are every bit as essential to success as sales numbers and market share.
Vision straight from the top
Hearing directly from Compass CEO Robert Reffkin and other leaders, attendees walked away with insight into what’s next for the industry. Discussions ranged from market conditions to innovative growth strategies, with a shared focus on staying adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
A standout announcement was the recent launch of Compass Intelligence — a new weekly video series led by Chief Economist Mike Simonsen. Each episode delivers clear, data-driven insights on buyer demand, pricing trends, and other key market signals that can help agents make smarter decisions for their clients. It’s designed to put timely information right at agents’ fingertips, so they can anticipate shifts instead of just reacting to them.
Capturing the spirit of the Summit
As photographers, our role was to preserve the energy of the day — from keynote addresses to casual conversations. With many Compass agents among our clients, it was meaningful to document an event that reflects both their achievements and the supportive community they’re part of.
We left Carmel inspired by the ideas exchanged and grateful to have been part of a day that celebrated innovation, collaboration, and connection in real estate.
