Role Overview
Open Homes Photography is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and efficient Photography Post-Production Coordinator to support our real estate photography editing operations. This role focuses on the daily execution of post-production workflows, ensuring that every image meets our high standards for quality and consistency. You will act as the primary gatekeeper for image quality and the central hub for workflow traffic, ensuring timely delivery of assets in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to maintain rigorous quality control standards, manage daily production schedules, level up photo editors, and ensure smooth collaboration between photographers and editors.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control (QC) & Assurance
- Image Auditing: Perform daily quality assurance reviews on final deliverables to ensure they meet technical specifications and aesthetic standards for real estate photography.
- Consistency Checks: Verify color accuracy, exposure balance, and alignment across all projects to maintain a cohesive visual style.
- Post Production Feedback Loops: Provide constructive, tactical feedback to editors regarding specific edits or batches to correct errors and improve immediate output.
- Production Feedback loops: Connect with Photo managers to ensure photographers in the field are using consistent processes that serve quality post and communicate improvements.
- Style Guide Adherence: Ensure all work strictly follows established style guides and client specifications.
Workflow & Operations Management
- Traffic Management: Monitor the flow of incoming raw assets and outgoing final files to ensure all deadlines and turnaround times are met.
- Process Efficiency: Oversee the daily editing pipeline, identifying immediate bottlenecks or delays and resolving them to keep production on track.
- File Management: Maintain organized file structures and ensure proper archiving and asset management protocols are followed.
- SOP Maintenance: assist in updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for editing and file handling to ensure current practices are documented.
Operational Support
- Vendor & Team Coordination: Act as a liaison between internal teams and external editing vendors or freelancers to clarify instructions and priorities.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the first line of support for basic software or file issues within the post-production team.
- Reporting: Track daily volume and error rates to provide regular status updates to leadership.
Qualifications
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in high-volume photography post-production or a similar digital asset management role.
- Proven experience in a Quality Control (QC) capacity within a creative workflow.
- Experience working with real estate or architectural photography is highly preferred.
Skills
- Core Photo Editing: Proficiency in modern post production approaches and tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Affinity Photo, Capture One), with the ability to spot technical flaws instantly.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and color, with an uncompromising standard for image quality.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills for providing feedback and status updates.
- Workflow Tools: Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Google Workspace).
